1300 compressor, ...
1300 compressor, 1600 CFM Desicant Dryer, Clemco 6 bagger pots for mobility around job, and used Dupont Starblast. Much faster than coal slag on new steel. Was? running three blast pots on this tank.

no no, I agree with you, just didn't realize that the pressure is at that level. What type of coating? was applied here?

The blasting was not slow at all. Took? less than two days to complete the blast and the prime work and the blast was a SSPC-SP10 Near-White Blast.

The surface profile ...
The surface profile was around 2.5 - 3.0 mils. The Starblast is a rounded abrasive but the coating system used takes to it very well. As far as pressure, the pressure was running around 125-130 psi at the Blast Nozzle. I don't think that you would want anymore pressure than that. I always check my nozzle pressure on each job to see how much loss I have at the nozzle. We ran a 1600 CFM unit at 150 psi with two blast nozzles running full? time. What pressure would you recommend?

yea? but what is the surface profile here? If I remember correctly this abrasive has rounded edges and the pressure doesn't seam to high...

not bad we blast inside and? out of 400bbl tanks in 6 hours so there but yeah good method groves sandblasting grande prairie alberta
